NP Assures The Public Of Reliable Supply Of LPG

“There is no shortage of (LPG) cooking gas to the public.”

This, from the Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited in response to a newspaper article outlining a shutdown of several petrochemical plants at Point Lisas due to a fire at the bpTT’s Mahogany hub, one of which is the lone cooking gas producer in the country.

According to NP’s media release, measures have been implemented to ensure an uninterrupted supply and discouraged consumers from engaging in panic buying of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or cooking gas and this will cause shortages.

The release continued stating that NP’s LPG plant operations will continue as normal, with systems in place to prevent any disruption to supplies.
