Confirmed cases of the Delta Variant of Concern in Tobago have increased to five. This, as an additional case was confirmed on Friday.
According to the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, the individual has no travel history but was a contact of a person with recent travel history.
The person has been placed in isolation until the discharge criteria for persons with the Delta Variant of Concern is achieved.
Meanwhile, 34 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours on the island, bringing the total number of active cases to 308.
