Rain halted the T&T senior women cricketers from making it three straight wins in their CG Insurance Super 50 game against the Leeward Islands women.
Batting first, T&T women scored a competitive 253 for 6 from their 50 overs. Under-19 standout Djenaba Joseph top scored with 90 while captain Anisa Mohammed chipped in with 45 not out. Joseph and Mohammed partnered in an 81-run stand, giving momentum to the total.
However, during the mid innings break, the rains poured in Conaree, putting a stop to the game and ending in a no result. They next face Guyana women on Wednesday.
