The Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart R. Young, met with a Marubeni delegation which included Mr. Yuji Sato, Mr. Mohamed Majeed, Mr. Keisuke Harada and Ms. Sandra Welch-Farrell, today, Monday 5th June, 2023 at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, International Waterfront Complex Head Office, Port of Spain.
Minister Young warmly welcomed the delegation to Trinidad and Tobago and expressed his interest in further developing business partnerships with Marubeni Corporation. Discussions surrounded energy security, power generation and new energy solutions. He expressed his gratitude for the continued working relationship with Marubeni and their partnership with the Government in Powergen. He thanked the delegation for their continued support towards Trinidad and Tobago.
