A partnership between the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Company, T&TEC, and the Government led to the installation of five LED lights in the Paramin area.
Deputy Chairman of T&TEC, Glenford Cyrille, said while it may appear to be a small project, it is a continuation of efforts over the years for the country to focus on its environmental footprint.
Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, who was born and raised in Paramin, thanked the residents for allowing the development of the area to take place. Two of the five LED lights installed are solar-powered.
