West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 Men’s 50-Over Championship: T&T Beat Guyana

Trinidad and Tobago beat Guyana by six wickets to earn their first win of the West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 Men’s 50-Over Championship on Monday.

Guyana, batting first, were all out for 146 in 40.1 of their allotted 50 overs.

Thaddeus Lovell top scored with 33, Shamar Yearwood scored 29, and Rivaldo Phillips 20.

TT Under-19 spinner Andrew Rambaran had best figures of 4 for 27, while Ronillester Perreira took 3 for 8.

T&T was well on its way, reaching 136 for 4 in 38 overs before the match was delayed by rain. The Duckworth-Lewis method was implemented to determine a result and T&T emerged victorious.

Kyle Ramdoo top-scored in the winning effort with 37, Justyn Jagessar made 31, captain Rajeev Ramnath scored 21, and Kyle Kissoondath 16.
