The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) and the National Library of Cuba “José Marti” is an opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen organisational capacity.
This, from Chairman of NALIS, Neil Parsanlal, during the MOU signing on Tuesday.
The National Library of Cuba is the third cooperation agreement signed by NALIS. Mr. Parsanlal said there are numerous areas of cooperation which NALIS is seeking to develop with such partnerships.
Cuban Ambassador Tania Diego Olite said her country takes pride in sharing knowledge with their partners.
Under the MoU, the entities will participate in training courses, workshops, conferences, and scientific visits.
