The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is assuring that they are ready for Monday’s Local Government Election.
During Wednesday’s Police Media Conference, ACP Winston Maharaj said police officers on leave have already been called out to join their colleagues on duty. He said they are working with the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) to ensure that the voting process will be administered in a safe and secure environment.
Senior Superintendent Kerwin Francis shared some of the offences that the police are trying to prevent or will require their intervention.
