Richard Hood leads Trinidad and Tobago into its first CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup Qualifier versus Mexico on September 26th with a bit of uncertainty surrounding the side.
The home-based internationals include Victoria Swift, Alexia Ali, Chelsea Ralph, and Naomi Guerra and Karyn and Kimika Forbes.
Hood says they won’t have the full complement of 11 overseas players, which includes Asha James and Maria Frances Serrant, until the 22nd, and admits that the odds are stacked against T&T from the very first match.
T&T will host La Tri in the return match at home following their climb to Estadio Hidalgo and will also play Puerto Rico home and away in the qualifying series.
