The West Indies Senior Women have arrived in Brisbane for their six-match Limited Over Series against Australia Women.
They will play three T20s and three One Day Internationals against the Number One ranked team in both formats.
Senior player Stafanie Taylor says the inclusion of the Under-19 players is a great step, but they should not be burdened with too much responsibility too soon.
The Windies Women, who are 6th on the rankings in both formats, will be dependent on Taylor’s full availability. She reassured the fans that her health and well being is currently at its best.
The first T20 bowls off this Saturday at 9:20pm Eastern Caribbean Time.
