T&T’s boxers were first to enter the competition arena at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
On Thursday, heavyweight Nigel Paul was eliminated from the tournament when he went down 5-0 to Colombian Christian Salcedo. The Colombian winning all five rounds on the judges cards to earn the victory over Paul.
Earlier today, Eyed George lost her middleweight bout to Atheyna Bylon after the referee stopped the bout in the second round.
On Saturday Al-Jaleel Johku will face Yurberjen Herney of Colombia at 51kg.
