Trinidad and Tobago faced Brazil in Field Hockey this morning at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
The Darren Cowie coached outfit fell to their second loss of the campaign against the South Americans, going down 2-1 in the hard-fought encounter.
Brazil jumped out to a 2-nil lead in the First Quarter with goals from Stephane Smith and Andre Patrocinio. T&T held their own to the half and turned up the pressure to pull one back in the Third Quarter through Mickell Pierre but the Brazilians would repel all further advances to hold on for the win.
T&T play their final Group match on Sunday versus Canada. The Women’s team will be in action on Saturday against Uruguay.
