The appreciation messages continue to pour in for former West Indies standout Sunil Narine. The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board extended their best wishes to Narine on his continuing career.
Azim Bassarath, President of the TTCB, and Vice-President of the Cricket West Indies, said “We wish to express our appreciation for the great accomplishments of Sunil, now that he has made a decision to end his international career which must be respected.”
Bassarath noted that Narine represented all the great qualities worthy of emulation by cricketers who want to aspire to the highest levels.
He continued, “Sunil was the first at training and the last to leave because he took his profession seriously. He entertained cricket fans around the world and is one of the most sought after T20 Franchise cricketer who is a credit to T&T. The TTCB is proud of the great heights Sunil has achieved since his early start in inter-zone cricket, then for the national team and ultimately representing the West Indies in all formats. We wish him continued success!”
