Independent Oil and Gas company, Woodside Energy is winding down production from its shallow water fields in Trinidad, as it prepares to ramp up its deep water project.
At its Investor Briefing Day on Wednesday in Australia, the company’s Executive Vice President for International Operations, Shiva McMahon, indicated Woodside is focused on maximising the recovery of the remaining reserves in its Angostura and Ruby fields by 2030.
This, as the company moves forward with its Calypso project.
Their deep water blocks ((TTD-AA 14 and 23(a))) are situated 300 kilometres from the North East coast of Trinidad.
Estimated resources from Calypso are more than three trillion cubic feet of gas.
