Junior Parang Competition Results

The Junior Parang Competition came off this weekend with intense rivalry leading to splendid results.

In first position, Bishop Anstey POS and Queen’s Royal College, with 182 points.

Holy Name came in second with 177 points.

Taking the third place was St. Mary’s College, holding 175 points.

St. Joseph’s Convent, St. Joseph, took fourth while St. Francois Girls’ College came in fifth.

Taking the various positions, from 6th to 8th, were St. Charles High School, then Belmont Secondary School and Tunapuna Secondary, tying with Woodbrook Secondary School.

In 10th place, Providence Girls’ Catholic School.
11th – Trinity College, Moka.
12th – La Casita, Hispanic Cultural Centre.
13th – Bishop Anstey/Trinity College East.
14th – Blanchisseuse Secondary School.
And 15th – The International Bilingual School.

The Best Female Vocalist went to Kaeija Wilson.
Best Marac was taken by Nathaniel Weekes.
Best Box-Bass to Ariel Mark, all of whom come from Bishop Anstey POS and Queen’s Royal College.

The Best Male Vocalist and Cuatro Player was Julian Maugh from St. Mary’s College.
