Persons who require the additional third primary dose of the COVID-19 vaccine may not be considered fully vaccinated.
These persons, according to Epidemiologist Dr. Avery Hinds, include those over 60, who are immuno-compromised, pregnant, or have an illness such as cancer.
Dr. Hinds clarified their vaccination status at Wednesday’s COVID-19 Health Update.
Dr. Hinds said new information about the dosage will be discovered as research on the vaccine continues.
Since the third dose programme was initialised on Tuesday, over 100 doses were administered to the public.
