Swimmer Dylan Carter has been named to the World Aquatics Athletes Committee.
The 20-member team comprises 10 swimming athletes and two athletes each from various aquatic sports including Diving, High Diving, Open Water, Artistic Swimming, and Water Polo.
Members of the Committee were selected via elections held at the last World Aquatics World Championships.
Chair of the World Aquatics Athletes Committee is Jamaican Olympian Aliah Atkinson with Great Britain’s Jack Laugher the Vice Chair. Some of the Committees duties include:
To bring input of the Athletes to World Aquatics, in particular in connection with the organization of competitions and events.
To collaborate in the Technical Rule proposals and amendments for each discipline.
To be in contact with Athletes participating in competitions and events and bring forward to World Aquatics any suggestions and remarks made by athletes.
