Agro-Processing And Packaging Plant Opens In Brazil Village

More than $200,000 has been invested to open an agro-processing and packaging plant at Brazil Lome Trace, Brazil Village.

The project was funded by the Digicel Foundation, Shell T&T, and the Brazil Village Farmers Group.

Established to process fresh produce into value added products, the agro facility will provide processing, packaging and marketing services to local farmers.

Board Member of the Digicel Foundation, Guy Small, says the Brazil farming organisation matched Digicel’s contribution to the project “dollar for dollar.”
