Get Society Involved In Constitutional Reform

A former Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa has urged all sectors of society to get involved in the Constitutional Reform process in Trinidad and Tobago.

Speaking at the 10th Jurist Lecture Series hosted by the Judicial Education Institute of Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday evening, Retired Judge, Justice Edwin Cameron, noted that such views for the reform should not just come from the judges and lawyers, but every sector of society.

He also voiced his opinion of the Privy Council being the final court of Appeal in some quarters.
