Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s National Team midfielder Daniel Phillips has agreed to join English Football League one side, Stevenage Football Club, on a two-year deal.
Phillips, who is a product of the Chelsea and Watford Academy, left his most recent club, St. Johnstone from the Scottish Premier League, where he made 50 appearances over the course of two seasons.
The defensive midfielder has made 12 appearances for T&T since making his debut in 2021, while featuring in the recent World Cup Qualifiers.
On the signing, Stevenage Manager Alex Revell said that Phillips would bring new qualities to their midfield, while he admitted that he pursued the player for two years and is excited to have gotten the deal over the line.
