Trinidad and Tobago has taken another step towards meeting its responsibilities as members of the Caribbean Community’s Caribbean Reparations Commission.
CARICOM is demanding reparations from former colonial powers for slavery and its lasting effects in the Caribbean region.
The National Committee on Reparations of Trinidad and Tobago had a Media Launch earlier today at NAPA in Port of Spain.
