Tobago’s mas band leaders are calling for outstanding prize monies.
On Monday, the Tobago Mas Bandleaders Association Chairman, Dianne Mc Crimmon, told TTT News that mas band leaders took part in the 2024 National Carnival production and are yet to receive payments.
In May, they were told payments would have been made, but over one month later this promise has not realised. Ms. Mc Crimmon said she hopes the matter can be resolved amicably and in a speedy manner.
The Association’s Chair informed some members are already in the process of preparing for October Carnival and are left in a limbo because of financial setbacks resulting from delay of the payments.
