What do you do when you are an author, poet, masman and promoter looking for a new challenge? Possibly write a play, make it a calypso musical about the iconic Warlord Blakie. Well that is what Dawad Phillip is doing as he brings Lord Blakie in Brooklyn to Queen’s Hall for one show, Sunday 1st September.
