This country’s COVID-19 death toll now stands at 2,336. This, as 16 more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, among the fatalities were six elderly males, four elderly females, four middle aged males, one middle aged female, and one adult female.
There are also 857 new cases, taking active cases to 13,696. The Ministry said 83 people have been discharged from public health facilities, while 507 remain at hospital and are being treated for the virus.
