The words of Finance Minister Colm Imbert who assured citizens who are yet to receive Property Tax Notices that they will not be subject to any penalties or interest for failing to pay on time.
Speaking during a Media Conference on Tuesday, the Finance Minister acknowledged that there have been concerns from members of the public.
He said payments for Property Tax have been received from just over 140,000 property owners, amounting to $105.6 million.
Minister Imbert reminded the deadline has been extended for the Board of Inland Revenue to deliver Property Tax Assessment Notices, now by November 29th, while the time for payment of Property Tax has also been extended to December 20th.
