For the third consecutive year, Tobago has been recognised as one of the top five most desirable islands at the prestigious World Travel Market. This announcement was made during the 2024 World Travel Market in London, which concluded on Thursday.
In 2023, Tobago ranked third among the islands. According to a release from the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited, Trinidad and Tobago also received recognition, being awarded the title of Best in Travel for 2025 and listed among the top 10 countries to visit that year. Minister of Tourism Randall Mitchell, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, and Secretary of Tourism Tashia Grace Burris were present to accept the award, which was presented by the international travel publication Lonely Planet.
