National Centenarian Programme Launched

Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, says a new Registry for persons 100 and over is being set up.

The Minister revealed the idea behind the new database at the launch of the National Centenarian Programme on Monday. Minister Cox noted that the Ministry is aware that there are more than 300 persons ages 100 and over living in T&T.

From January 1st 2022, the National Centenarian Programme will recognise and honour citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who have achieved the milestone of attaining the age 100 years and above.
