WI Vs Bangladesh Day 3

The First Test between the West Indies and Bangladesh continued today at the Sir Vivian Richard Stadium in Antigua with the home team aiming to press its advantage.

At the end of the second day, the West Indies had Bangladesh at 40 for 2 after declaring on 450 for 9 following the tea interval. They got to 105 for 3 at lunch on Day 3 with Mahmudul Hasan Joy the man out for 5. The tourists battled through the day with Jaker Ali getting 53 and Mominul Haque 50 as they reached 269 for 9 when the day’s play was called for fading light.

Alzarri Joseph ended the day with the most wickets, 3 for 69, while century maker Justin Greaves enhanced his all rounder credentials with 2 wickets for 34 runs.

The West Indies are going into Day 4 with a lead of 181 runs but the Bangladesh last pair will aim to cut into that when play resumes at 10am on Monday.
