It was a hard fought effort by Trinidad and Tobago cyclist Nicholas Paul who claimed sliver in the men’s sprint final at UCI Champions League in the Netherlands.
Paul who was up against strong competition on the form of Olympic Gold medalist Harrie Lavreysen, settled for a second place finish.
Prior to the final, Paul had impressive semifinal showing by when he came from behind to catch his competitors off-guard to obtain victory by a massive margin.
Paul also finished third in the men’s Keirin final behind Lavreysen and Colombian, Cristian Ortega.
