Trinidad and Tobago 3×3 Men’s Basketball Team departed for San Juan, Puerto Rico this morning to compete in the fourth edition of the FIBA 3×3 Ameri Cup set to commence from December 12th to 15th.
After months of training with an initial large contingent of players, Head Coach Christopher Jackson Charles selected a final four-man team of Chike Augustine, Ahkeel Boyd, Moriba De Freitas (captain), and Tyrese Fields.
T&T, seeded 14th, are drawn in Group B alongside Cuba, Jamaica, and St. Kitts and Nevis, and will be aiming to better their Bronze medal finish at the 2023 Pan Am Games.
