The Minister of Trade and Industry, Paula Gopee-Scoon, is leading a Trade Mission to boost exports in Dominica.
The Trade Mission to Dominica runs from 19th to 22nd January 2025. Organised by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) with support from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), the mission aims to expand business opportunities for local exporters.
A delegation of 29 companies from various sectors, including food and beverage, construction, and chemicals, will engage in business-to-business meetings with Dominican buyers.
According to a release from the Ministry of Trade, the initiative aligns with the Government’s Export Booster Initiative (EBI), designed to increase non-energy exports over the next three years.
Prominent companies such as Angostura Limited, Blue Waters Limited, and Electrical Industries Group are among the participants.
