Point Fortin Pioneers opened the 2025 WoLF season with a convincing 4-2 victory over Combined Ballerz at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
The Pioneers took an early 1-0 lead inside the first ten minutes before Ballerz equalised shortly after via a retaken penalty, after the keeper was judged to be off her line.
The Pioneers retook the lead at 2-1 with a long-range strike before Ballerz made it 2-2 just minutes before halftime with another well-taken penalty.
The Point Fortin Pioneers proved to be too much for the opposition in the second half, grabbing two more goals to secure a 4-2 win.
