Ten more people have died of COVID-19, taking this country’s death toll to 1,977.
Among the fatalities are six men and four women. Six people had multiple comorbidities including diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease, asthma and cancer.
According to the Ministry of Health’s latest update, an additional 404 people have also tested Positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. Active cases now stand at 8,695.
The Ministry said 539 patients remain at hospital while 47 people have been discharged from public health facilities.
