The Heart of Love Foundation held its flagship project, “A Christmas Garage Giveaway” for a second time, as a way to show the heart of God through the act of love and kindness to families in need.
The second instalment of “A Christmas Garage Giveaway” transformed the Malabar Phase 4 Community Centre Carpark into a distribution Centre for food, clothing, toys, shoes and household knick-knacks.
Co-Founder of the Heart of Love Foundation Averline Scott said the global pandemic has taught everyone we cannot turn a blind eye to those in need.
Ms. Scott said over 350 people who pre-registered for the event, were also given a food hamper.
Ms. Scott said all Covid-19 protocols were observed as persons collected the hampers on site. She hoped more entities would come forward and sponsor next year’s instalment. She also discussed the Foundation’s plans for 2022.
The Heart of Love Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that seeks to inspire the building of communities through the act of love and kindness for humanity.
