The Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Faris Al-Rawi, together with Ms. Vyana Sharma, Head, Anti-Terrorism Unit, and members of the Anti-Terrorism Unit held a hybrid meeting with Ms. Carina Cockburn, Country Representative, and Ms. Neeca Braithwaite, Operations Senior Associate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and virtual participation of Mr. Jason Malcolm, Senior Specialist, Public Management and Mr. Roberto de Michele, Principal Specialist, Modernization of the State, IDB, at Parliament’s precincts.
This meeting was focused on discussions in relation to the way forward with IDB’s provision of technical assistance in relation to Trinidad and Tobago’s Anti Money Laundering and Anti-Corruption Framework, Legislative framework in relation to Digital Transformation and proposals for the development of a National Prosecution Agency and an AGLA Academy.
