More than 100 guns have not been available for use by the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Fisheries, affecting the Ministry’s action with respect to praedial larceny.
Line Minister, Clarence Rambharat says the guns have been missing since before 2015.
The Minister adds that the Ministry has been dealing with the matter urgently.
Minister Rambharat was responding to a query from Opposition Senator David Nakid who asked about the Praedial Larceny Squad being under-equipped.
