AMCHAM Trinidad and Tobago acknowledged a number of initiatives โ new and existing that are geared toward stimulating the non-energy sector.
In a release, AMCHAM said they support the increase in the minimum wage, and believes there have been a consistent philosophy and attempt to protect the most vulnerable in his budgets over the past several years.
They also agreed with the philosophy and the focus on the priority areas of education, health, and crime reduction, as per usual.
Further, AMCHAM said the attempts to provide more incentives to the upstream energy sector and incen-tivize small pool development are welcome.
