International air freight and cargo shipping service provider, Amerijet, has expanded with the opening of its new Shared Service Centre in Port of Spain on Tuesday.
The office is expected to create employment for 25 people locally in the fields of Accounting and Management.
According to Amerijet’s Chief Financial Officer, Joe Mozzali, the company has been in business for close to 50 years, serving primarily the Caribbean and Central America Markets. He added that the company has had a long and successful history serving Trinidad and Tobago.
Trade and Industry Minister Paula Gopee Scoon remarked that Government is pleased to have yet another US investor in the country. She added that Amerijet’s diversification of its business model with this implementation of the Shared Service Centre is a sign of the company’s confidence in this country’s economy.
