Tobago’s CSEC and CAPE Merit List top performers have been honoured by the Division of Education, Research and Technology.
During a brief ceremony on Friday, the top students of Bishop’s High, Scarborough Secondary, Signal Hill Secondary, and Speyside High Schools received special awards.
Expressing pride in the addition of Speyside High to the list of top performers, the Division’s Secretary, Zorisha Hackett, reminded the star students that greater responsibility comes with their accomplishments.
One of the awardees, Darrianne Henry, a former student of Signal Hill Secondary, shared virtually that she made several sacrifices during her CAPE Unit 2 studies as she is also a national footballer.
Teachers for the various subject areas were also recognised and awarded.
