Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board President, Azim Bassarath, in now the Vice President of Cricket West Indies.
Bassarath will serve alongside Dr. Kishore Shallow, who was elected President of the regional governing body for cricket at the 24th Annual General Meeting of CWI, which was held on Saturday at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
Shallow is taking over from Ricky Skerritt and both he and Bassarath praised the stewardship of the outgoing President.
Also elected from the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board were Kerwin John and Arjoon Ramlal.
The other Board Members include Jason King and Conde Riley of Barbados, Bissoondyal Singh and Deleep Singh (Guyana), Dr. Donovan Bennett and Wilford Heaven (Jamaica), Enoch Lewis and Leon Rodney (Leeward Islands), Dwain Gill and Carol Henry (Windward Islands).
