The Trinidad and Tobago Badminton Association will host “The T&T Internationals 2023” – an Olympic badminton qualifier from August 22nd to 27th at the National Racquet Centre in Orange Grove, Tacarigua.
T&T’s internationally rank players are Chequeda De Boulet at number 244, the top-ranked national female player who recently won the Senior National Badminton Championships in February at the NRC, and Nicholas Bonkowsky, who is currently based in Canada and ranks at 373.
According to a release from the Sport Company, this will mark the third time that T&T will be hosting an Olympic qualifier, following two qualifying tournaments back in 2015 and 2017.
The tournament will allow players from across the globe the opportunity to gain valuable points to help them qualify for the Olympic Games in France 2024.
