Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment has been stolen from a Ministry of Works and Transport pumping station in the Beetham area.
Line Minister, Rohan Sinanan, who made the disclosure, said the incident took place last weekend.
The Minister said although several people have been arrested in connection with the theft, he believes there are others who were involved, and they remain at large.
Minister Sinanan has requested assistance from the public to aid the police in their investigations.
