The Ministry of Health is warning the public about fake COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccine tablets.
The Ministry says these “Pfizer Vaccine” tablets, which are sold on websites and other online spaces, are advertised as a cure for the COVID-19 virus.
The Ministry says analysis of these tablets revealed that they contained sugar with no active ingredient.
Anyone who has received or observed these tablets should immediately make a report to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service as well as the Chemistry, Food and Drug Division at 868-623-5242 or cfdd@health.gov.tt
