CAL Confirms Threat Received At Its Call Centre In Trinidad

Caribbean Airlines has confirmed that a threat was received on Sunday September 1st, via its Call Centre in Trinidad.

A media release posted to its website says the threat was not made against the airline.

Caribbean Airlines says the information received was shared with the relevant authorities and the matter is being investigated.

News reports coming out of Guyana indicate security officials in Guyana have launched an investigation into a bomb threat made against the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

The authorities have so far determined that the call originated from Guyana.
