Calypso Girls Win Third Game At Netball World Cup Americas Regional Qualifiers

The Calypso Girls made it three wins in a row when they beat St. Vincent and The Grenadines in their tightest match of the Netball World Cup Americas Regional Qualifiers at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston, Jamaica.

It was T&T’s closest run match of the qualifiers to date, the team in red, white, and black eventually coming out on top 49-42.

T&T opened the tournament with a 55-24 victory over Antigua and Barbuda and followed that up with a 63-25 win over St. Lucia.

Goal-Shoot Afeisha Noel has been in brilliant form, scoring 36 of 44 attempts in the second match.

T&T next plays Grenada on Wednesday.
