10 calypsonians have been selected to perform at this year’s Dimanche Gras show at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
Calypso lovers got their first taste of the artistes 2022 offerings on Sunday during the Clash of Tents showdown at the Naparima Bowl in San Fernando.
The Calypsonian’s governing body TUCO described Sunday’s show as enjoyable and entertaining as they issued the line up for Dimanche Gras Sunday.
Among the performances expected are, youngsters Aaron Duncan and Ta’zyah O’connor, with veterans Joanne “tigress”Rowley , Neville Brown “Bunny b” Errol Bally, Ballantyne Winston Peters, Irwin Johnson “Scrunter” and Johnson King, aka Johnny King.
Kevan Calliste and Myron Bruce better known as Myron B will take part in the Extempo face off.
