In Tobago…plans for the Scarborough Secondary School priority relocation are on it’s way as the Caribbean Development Bank’s technical team visits Trinidad and Tobago on a preparation mission.
The mission aims at facilitating the groundwork associated with a Technical Assistance Loan for the project and to provide any assistance toward the coastal protection needs on the island.
The initiative will make Scarborough Secondary School a model “Smart School”.
The school will be technologically enabled, resilient and green. It will also utilize renewable and sustainable energy technology.
An estimated US$ 436.7 million dollars will be available for a mix of financial and technical assistance toward the project.
The CDB’s Technical Team will visit Tobago from Wednesday May 4, to continue discussions with the relevant Tobago House of Assembly Divisions.
