The Hasely Crawford Stadium will be abuzz this weekend as Junior athletes from clubs throughout Trinidad and Tobago compete at the NAAA’s CARIFTA Trials.
The goal? Making the designated times and distances that will earn them a spot on the plane to represent Team TTO in the 49th edition of the CARIFTA Games in Kingston, Jamaica.
This will be the first CARIFTA Games held in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic and, after two years of regional and international inactivity, the young athletes will be keen to get their budding careers back on track.
The action will take place on both Saturday and Sunday starting at 10am.
