Describing today’s observance of World Steel Pan Day as an auspicious occasion, Pan Trinbago’s President, Beverly Ramsey-Moore says the event is an important moment for Trinidad and Tobago.
She notes that the steelpan is Trinidad and Tobago’s gift to the world – and points out that we should be proud of the achievement.
Ms. Ramsey-Moore says that her organisation will continue the process to make World Steel Pan Day an internationally-recognised occasion.
President Ramsey-Moore says it is all a work in progress, and her organisation will continue reaching out to partners in order to build relationships because the steelpan movement is moving quickly all across the globe.
