Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, says the Centre for Socially Displaced Persons at Riverside Carpark in Port of Spain is no longer suitable for the socially-displaced.
She said the CSDP was meant to be a temporary measure for the homeless and the Ministry views the closure as an achievement as they’ve been able to provide better accommodations and assistance for those willing to accept it.
